Impounded car auctions are a great idea if you are looking for a cheap car. If you have ever been to one, you are sure to have noticed how ridiculously low the starting bids are. This also makes people cautious – we are so used to paying too much that such low prices make the whole idea seem like a scam.

But there is no reason to be distrustful of impounded car auctions. They are held by some of the most trustworthy of auctioneers – banks, government agencies and lending institutions. These establishments are not looking for some quick money at your expense. Profit is not their priority, so you do not have to worry about being cheated. Their priority is to be rid of the vehicles as soon as possible.

The options the government has are either to conduct frequent auctions that will let you buy these cars at amazing prices or to let them fall apart. They simply don’t have the space to keep them in good condition for ages looking for profit. It only makes sense to auction them off at prices that you normally would not expect to get a car for.

You may be inspired by profits individual car dealers make, want to flaunt driving a posh or rare model, or simply have a tight budget that doesn’t allow you to purchase a new car – in any case, information on where and how to buy repossessed cars is the answer to your needs.

Daily, vehicles of all models and conditions get repossessed by financial and government agencies from those individuals who failed to pay back their mortgage or loan. These repossessed vehicles then become the property of the lending institutions, their idle assets. Not willing to bear expenses on the autos’ maintenance, the institutions tend to get rid of them as soon as possible in order to recover at least a part of their price. So, they are more than happy to sell them off at repossessed car auctions, sometimes as low as mere 10-20% of the vehicle’s market value.

Although repossessed cars are very similar to seized cars, the latter are often taken from criminals and therefore, there is a greater chance of them having defects. At the same time, you can buy a repossessed car in a well-maintained or nearly new condition in most cases.

A common problem for newbies to eBay when starting a business is knowing what they could sell.

I am often asked should I sell electronics or should I sell the ipods or questions of a similar nature. This is a question everyone asks when they first get started on ebay and it’s hardly suprising that many people don’t really have a clue how to even get started.

So what is the excited newbie supposed to do when it seems that every original idea has been taken.Well I find that a good starting point is your own interests and hobbies after all there is a saying if you are doing what you love you aren’t really working anyway … that seems a good place to start to me don’t you think?

If you have an idea for products in a specific niche market and are not sure how popular your choice might be you could use eBay to check out if the market has brought your type of products in the past. After all there is no point at all in selling stuff no one wants is there?

Dropshipping what is it anyway, now that’s a good question if you live in the US you might well of heard of it but much of the rest of the world hasn’t caught on to the idea yet.

This is a quick summary of Dropshipping for those who don’t know. What happens is instead of you ordering a huge pile of stock and then after you sell it you ship it direct to your customers with dropshipping the supplier send out your orders for you. Once you make the sale you send the dropshipper your customers details and they send out the goods. They even use your shipping labels so your customer won’t even know or care you aren’t supplying them.

I find that a lot of eBay sellers like the idea of dropshipping as it takes a lot of the tedious work out of selling on eBay which is one of a few pluses to using a dropshipping service. But the less experienced eBay sellers needs to be wary of the negatives also.
