If you have written an article there is absolutely no reason why you cannot extend this to write an e-book which can bring even greater benefits. The structure isn’t that difficult if you just follow the information detailed in this article. The process detailed here can be used for a person carrying out the whole project on their own or with one or more additional writers to help them.

We all have areas where we are knowledgeable and this is the place researching your e-book so start by writing some articles to gauge interest in the subject; because if there is an interest, people will pay. By writing the articles it provides practice and they are easier to do but they can also be used later to help promote your book in all sorts of online areas. This is a simple process whereby the promotional articles are sent to directories for insertion; the number of views they get will provide a good indication just how much interest there is in the subject.

The overall structure can be a work in progress while the article content is being written. If you are worried about the structure you should not go wrong of you follow the normal introduction section, body content and then a conclusion to the subject which might also have a helpful resources area as well. If you write a few more articles that complement the book you may find it will increase the overall perceived value.

On completing each article, insert it into the e-book because this is a good way to see just how many you will need. If you want someone to actually read your e-book, it can’t be too long so keep it informative and around fifty pages in length. People do not like reading on compute screens so prefer to have shorter books that do not drift from the subject.

Most e-books provide bonus material so if you can find some include this as it will be welcomed. From your point of view this bonus information does not need to be anything more than some extra articles you did not use in the book or a short report you have written. Do not supply bonus material about a completely unrelated subject, readers do not appreciate this.
