If you are a small business entrepreneur whether you are the Elevator Mechanic or Servant, there is actually more reason to be organized, not less. While some spontaneity is ideal for and expected of small business, a certain amount of planning is imperative if you are going to compete with what similar institutions offer. Take your time now to really plan the scope of your business and write it down. This will give you a legitimate idea of what your challenges are, your current status, where you want to be in 5 years, and how close you are to achieving them.

The first thing is to remember to get all the details down on paper. This gives you a starting point, and something solid to alter if things need to be changed later on. The planning document can guarantee that you, your hired workers, and your investors are all working toward the goal you want.

The first thing to put on your page is a description of your business. This includes what you do, if you pan to provide any services and what products you will produce. In a word, this will serve as the scope of your business. While it can certainly get expanded later on, you will realize that writing down of your limits and terms is very useful for future development. This is also a good place to include what kind of end game you have. While they can be broad goals that you want to stick to, you should build on it with some rough gross and net income figures that you are hoping to see.

Seized property offered at government auctions and police auctions are veritable treasure chests for bargain hunters. There is an astounding array of new and used merchandise, sold at rock-bottom prices, sometimes less than 10% of market value!

What is exactly seized property? This is property taken under state or federal “seizure laws”. These laws allow law enforcement agencies to seize property that was used or acquired from illegal activities, was improperly imported into the country, or didn’t have required taxes or duties paid.

If a criminal uses the money he acquires from his crime to buy a car, truck, boat, even a house, they fall under the “seizure law” and will be confiscated. Jewelry, computers, cameras, art all can be seized.

If you are setting up a website, follow these simple rules to improve search engine rankings of your site. You can also follow these techniques if your website is not ranked high in search engines for certain keywords. Concentrate on the home page of your site and once you learn the techniques, you will be able to apply them to the other pages of your site that will have multiple high ranking pages.

1. Find keywords (or key phrases) relevant to your website. Go to the overture keyword selector tool (type key phrase overture inventory in Google) and check the popularity of the keywords you want to use. Avoid highly popular keywords. Highly popular keywords are very competitive and the least popular keywords are search engine traffic starved.

Select a dozen keywords and key phrases from the middle of the list. This is a very important exercise and you should spend at least a couple of hours, if not more, researching different keywords. While you are researching your keywords, check your competitors by doing a search in a couple of popular search engines like Google, Yahoo, etc., using those keywords. Keep a record of your competitors’ urls and other information because you don’t want to waste your time doing the same search again in the near future.

A few weeks ago I decide to join another marketing program to build my income. The plan is solid and the opportunity to achieve my goals is there. I’m happy with the program and what it has to offer. Unfortunately I’m not very happy with my progress. Being new at this particular program but not new at marketing I didn’t pay very much attention to the details. In particular, the marketing plan.

In the home based business field there are literally hundreds of internet companies that promise to make the newbie Entrepreneur wealthy by drawing in targeted traffic through their advertising programs. Having bought into a few of them I can say for a fact they are junk and are simply sucking money out of the new wannabe marketer. Better said, they don’t work. But of course I learned this the hard way having bought into several blast your ad to 10 million web site advertisers and others. of course they do blast your ad to 10 million sites and of course you get 0 results.

There are many other programs available to help the newbie grow his business. Often these programs promise to make them wealthy in a short period of time. Mentoring programs are on the top of the list. While there are a few that will actually produce very good results if the new marketer stays with the program long enough. Most simply do not provide quality results.

Through the past ten years the internet has become the center of business that the world revolves around. If the internet weren’t up and running come Monday morning when the stock market opened there would be hundreds of thousands of crippled businesses.

Hiding in the depths of this internet society is the shark, the man or woman watching the events occurring in their society and searching with a sharp eye for the best way to make a profit from it.

The key to that is in the details and tricks of the trade of internet marketing. Before the internet came along, the ability to be profitable depended primarily upon getting beyond close proximity. Televisions and newspapers let the businesses reach out to big consumer audience but his efforts were curtailed by the simple fact the television broadcast areas were only so big and newspaper delivery usually did not extend beyond the continent it was printed on.
