With the help of another blogger, I discovered two interesting keywords these are no other than “derivatives” of Google itself or should I say where “Google” was derived from. Those key words are Googel and Googol.
Keywords are very important to bloggers and webmasters because it will bring them more traffic. The more traffic you have the more page impressions you will have, the more chances of people clicking your ads and the more chances of you selling products. Whatever kind of commercial activities that a blogger or webmaster is involved whether it is pay per click, pay per impression pay per visit, pay per whatsoever or selling affiliate products, the most important thing is the traffic. In short more traffic means more money.
Traffic from three of the world’s biggest search engines, Google, Yahoo and MSN is the most important thing that a blogger or webmaster should consider. This further ensures that they are making money online.
When somebody types a word in the search engine, you can be sure that they will be interested only in the first few spots. That is why you have to make sure that you are in the first 3 pages of the search engine. Making it to the top ten is even better. Most likely people from the search engine will not visit your site if you are in the 100th page.
The key therefore is to ensure that your blog or website sustains a high volume of traffic all year long. One of those ways is to ensure this is that your blog or website must compete for the proper keywords.
Getting the right keyword is not easy. There are thousands of keywords and some of the really good ones have a lot of competition. In order to know this type a keyword in google and look at the upper right hand of the page. Take for example when you type the phrase “making money online” you get more than 18 million results. You can see that the chances of you making it to the top ten in this keyword is really slim.
Selecting a keyword with less competition is not enough. You need to check out if the keyword has a high search volume. This means you need to make sure people are searching for the keyword. This will ensure that you are optimizing the proper keyword. In order to know this go to google trends, type the keyword and if it produces the graph, Bingo ! That’s it.
Most bloggers say you have to search for “high-trend but low-dense keyword.”
A keyword that fits both criteria is the word “Googel.” Googel is an example of a high-trend but low-dense keyword that bloggers or website masters must take advantage of. If you study the google trends graph you can see that since 2004, it has sustained a huge and increasing number of searches. That answers the question of it’s being high trend. As of the time of this writing only 860,000 blogs or websites has mentioned this keyword. This answers it’s being low dense. What this is telling us is that competing for this keyword is not so difficult.
On the other hand, Googel’s twin, “Googol” may not have a very impressive graph in google trend. But the the fact that it made it in google trends shows that it is a high-trend keyword. What’s good about it though is that it’s density is lower by half than that of Googel. As of the time of this writing only 468,000 blogs and websites has been mentioning it.
So do whatever you have to do to take advantage of the keywords Googel and Googol to bring more traffic to your blog or website right now !
